Presentation of the results of the Neptune project

A two-day event dedicated to the results of the NEPTUNE project will open tomorrow, May 27, in Porto Torres.

The goal of the project is to implement a strategy for the management of underwater routes whose enjoyment, achieved through sustainable recreational underwater activities that are accessible to all types of visitors, can be a tool for tourism promotion and enhancement as well as raising awareness about the protection of the marine environment.

Here are the dates:
On May 27, at the Asinara National Park headquarters in Porto Torres (Via Ponte Romano, 81), the activities conducted by CNR-IBE related to the mapping of submerged ecosystem services and analysis of the environmental implications of diving services will be presented.

On May 28, on the island of Asinara, the underwater trail, and equipped to be enjoyed by users with motor and visual disabilities, of Cala La Reale will be inaugurated, featuring important
naturalistic values, viewed from the perspective of improving conditions of accessibility and inclusiveness.
The day will also include the opening of an exhibition space and the awarding of prizes for the photo contest THE SEA FOR ALL.
