School of Ecology and Economics (SEE) 2022

The School of Ecology and Economics (SEE), an initiative promoted by DiSEA as part of the Development Program – Departments of Excellence 2018/2022, restarts with the collaboration of the Asinara National Park Authority, CRENoS (North-South Economic Research Center), CONISMA (Inter-University Consortium for Sea Sciences – Genoa branch), of CMCC (Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change – Sassari headquarters) and CNR-IBE (Institute for Bio Economics – Sassari), and the under the free sponsorship of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, the Department of Environment of the Region of Sardinia and the Italian Society of Marine Biology.

The VI edition of the school will take place online with lectures and training activities that will engage participants for about two days a week (spread over the month of October 2022), dedicated to four thematic blocks, respectively:

1) fundamentals of economics and ecology;
2) ecological assessment;
3) economic evaluation;
4) Climate change risk assessment.
The typical day for each block includes lectures and exercises conducted live with the help of the lecturer, review and/or in-depth tests, readings and/or viewing of multimedia materials (mustSEE) that supplement the lecture content.
All interested parties are invited on September 23 at 10 a.m. to the introductory workshop at the Asinara Park headquarters (Via Ponte Romano, 81, 07046 Porto Torres SS).
